SENIOR EDITOR - Jack Burns

Jack Burns has been the editor of Esox Angler magazine since its inception. Jack has fished muskies for over 30 years throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota and Northwest Ontario and has published muskie fishing articles in Pro Trail, the In-Fisherman, Simply Fishing, Peterson's Fishing, and Musky Notes He was the muskie columnist for Minnesota Outdoor News from 1990 to 2004. Jack has been a guest speaker at Muskies Inc. chapter meetings from Fargo to Indianapolis. His other professional career, technical communications, includes writing, editing, and publishing medical technology user documentation; currently specializing in cardiac rhythm management--therapies to treat heart rhythm disorders and heart failure.

EDITOR - Rob Kimm

Rob Kimm is a former instructor at the In-Fisherman's Camp Fish and former guide who now pursues muskies and pike in Ontario and Minnesota. His articles on muskies and muskie fishing have appeared in Muskie Magazine, Outdoor News, and the In-Fisherman Magazine. Rob is the featured muskie columnist for the Minnesota Outdoor News. A writer and editor by trade, education, and avocation, Rob holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and also works as a consultant in the technical communications field.

RELEASE EDITOR - Pete Maina

Pete Maina is a multi-species angler and professional guide specializing in muskie fishing. He is nationally known for his prowess with muskie. Pete recently sold Musky Mania Tackle, the top musky lure manufacturer in the world, which he founded and established. He's a freelance outdoor writer/photographer and member OWAA (Outdoor Writers Association of America). He is part owner and regular "Bite" author for the new informational multi-species website TheNextBite.com. He is the General Manager and release editor at Esox Angler and currently a regular contributor to Wisconsin Outdoor Journal, Game & Fish Publications, John Gillespie’s Waters and Woods Magazine and Wisconsin and Minnesota Outdoor News. He has also been featured in Outdoor Life, Field and Stream, the In-Fisherman and the Wall Street Journal, and currently has published three books on muskies and muskie fishing. Pete also produces educational videos on Muskie fishing and has lectured at sport shows across the upper Midwest. He has lectured at sport shows and events across the nation, and appeared on TV shows all across the muskie range. Pete appears regularly with John Gillespie’s Waters and Woods aired throughout the midwest; also on muskie segments annually with Bass Pro’s Outdoor World on the Outdoor Life Network.

Pete is a pro-staffer and product consultant for: Mercury Marine, Bass Pro Shops, Tracker Boats, Frabill, Motorguide Trolling Motors, Lowrance Electronics, The Inhibitor Rust Preventative, Cortland Lines, Eagle Claw Hooks, Down-East Rod Holders, Lakewood Tackle Boxes, Drifter/Musky Mania Tackle and Ocean Waves Eyeware.

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS - Dave Fornara

Dave Fornara joined Esox Angler because of his passion for muskies, pike, and the sport of angling. With 20 year's angling experience, Dave has been a member of the Budweiser Fishing Team, sponsored by Ranger Boats, Mercury Motors and Lowrance Electronics. Recognized for his knowledge of western pike fishing, during the last two decades, Dave has been a frequent speaker for sportsman's organizations, boating and outdoor shows and many other outdoor forums.
